Social Enterprise Europe Ltd is looking for about 9 UK organisations/ enterprises to take part in a pilot project to test out the new Governance Route Master designed jointly by them and Unified Dialogs of Sweden.
The Route Master is a web based tool that will help organisations go through the following process:
Create a clear statement of purpose – including a stakeholder analysis, an objective analysis ,a positional analysis, a value statement and a policy and constitutional review and a positional analysis
Carry out a stakeholder dialogue with all significant stakeholders and beneficiaries, making full use of the Unified Dialogs Views capture software allowing for open questions and feedback
Carry out an internal review, including a roles and tasks analysis, a value study, a work situation analysis, and an organisation SWOT.
Prepare for a peer social audit that will summarise and comment on the process. The social audit report will be light on resources, but easy to access, transparent and understandable. It will also allow for easy year on year comparisons and be part of a learning and progressive process. It will in fact allow the organisation to demonstrate its own quality standard that is relevant and based on internal and beneficiary led criteria. It can also be carried out by another organisation within the pilot.
Social Enterprise Europe is making one or more applications to fund the pilot and are particularly interested in working with Community based Social Enterprises, schools or co-operatives. We are looking for organisations and enterprises that see themselves as governed by social objectives and driven by co-operative values
The funding sought would allow for free use of the tool, training and support and some funds to compensate organisations for their time in developing the process. We will also looking to train individuals to train other organisations to use the Tool.
If you are interested please complete the on line form. For an informal discussion please ring Cliff Southcombe before the 8th September on 0845 330 8310
